Notebook Navigator is now Obsidian's most popular plugin

Canonical version: Notebook Navigator is now Obsidian's most popular plugin.

The Notebook Navigator plugin for Obsidian just hit a milestone: it's now the #1 most popular plugin in the Obsidian community directory, and should pass a million downloads within weeks.

To mark the occasion, its Swedish author, Johan, released "Mastering Notebook Navigator 3", a one-hour masterclass split into 14 chapters. It covers the pane model and first-run setup, search and note filters, a writing workflow with manual sort, managing daily notes with the built-in calendar, folder notes as scratchpads, and vault profiles. He used ElevenLabs to dub his narration into 20 languages.

Alongside the tutorial, version 3.2.4 shipped with better behavior on third-party sync providers like iCloud, and search that now covers aliases and all properties.

If Obsidian's default file explorer doesn't work for you, try this plugin. The masterclass is a good introduction.
