What is knowledge mastery?
Knowledge mastery is the ability to reliably turn information into understanding, and understanding into output. It's what happens when note-taking stops being a graveyard of saved links and becomes a system that compounds, where everything you capture is connected, retrievable, and reusable. It isn't about a specific app; it's a progression through five layers: Foundation (why it matters), System (your tools and structure), Practice (turning information into insight), Application (using it at work and in life), and Creation (turning knowledge into content and products). Each layer builds on the one before it. Start at the foundation and grow at your own pace: within weeks you'll have a working system, and within months a knowledge engine that makes you faster, clearer, and more creative.
