HTML Anything — Prompts to Raw HTML and CSS
Canonical version: HTML Anything — Prompts to Raw HTML and CSS.
While poking around Open Design today, I bumped into one of its plugins worth highlighting on its own: HTML Anything.
The pitch is straightforward. Describe what you want, get raw HTML and CSS back. No framework. No React project to scaffold. No component library to learn. Just plain markup that runs in any browser.
This is the part of Vibe Coding I find most useful in practice. For landing pages, prototypes, single-purpose pages, or email templates, pulling in a full framework stack is overkill. The artifact you actually want is the HTML, not a project that needs to be built to produce HTML.
The portability is the real win. Framework-bound generators (v0, Lovable, Bolt) hand you a project. HTML Anything hands you a file. Different tradeoff, often the better one.
Combined with the Open Design Skills and Systems layer, you can keep the output on-brand while still getting framework-free deliverables. Useful angle to keep in mind alongside Claude Design when picking the right tool for a given job.
